Samsung is widening access to its One UI 8 beta, giving more Galaxy users a chance to try Android 16 features before the stable release. The program, which began with the Galaxy S25 series, is now extending to other flagship and mid‑range phones.

From August 11, the Galaxy S24 lineup joins the program along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Users in the US, UK, India, and South Korea can register through the Samsung Members app to download the beta build.

iOS 26 Beta Breaks Record

iOS 26 has become the most downloaded developer beta ever. This surprised many. Here are the details about the update.

In September, Samsung plans to extend testing to older flagships and popular mid‑range phones. The Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy A models, including the A35 5G, A36 5G, A54, and A55 5G, are scheduled to join. The phased rollout lets Samsung collect feedback across premium and affordable devices before final release.

One UI 8 focuses on smoother performance and deeper AI integration. Galaxy AI now offers faster translation, smarter voice commands, and more efficient multitasking. Split‑screen controls feel lighter, and foldables gain refinements for large‑screen productivity.

Other changes add polish to everyday use:

Users can open the Samsung Members app and tap the One UI 8 banner to enroll. After registration, the update appears under Software Settings. Once installed, the phone restarts and boots into the beta system.

Samsung expects to begin the stable rollout in September, starting with its newest foldables and S‑series devices. Broader updates for A‑series and older flagships will follow before the year ends.

With AI tools woven into daily tasks and improved speed across the interface, One UI 8 feels like more than a routine upgrade. For Galaxy owners, the polished version is close to testing is just the final step.
